The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. We speak out for native woodland and its wildlife, and campaign to ensure this voice is heard.

We have over 180,000 members who share our passion for trees and woodland. With their support we are able to:

* protect and manage over 1000 woods across the UK, providing havens for wildlife and important spaces for people.

* fight to save ancient woods under threat and address the problems which affect our environment. 

* create new native woodland – to date we have planted over 8 million trees! 

* use our specialist knowledge and experience to help other landowners care for and protect native trees and woodland.

Ancient woodland has survived for centuries. For every new member who joins, we are able to protect half an acre of woodland and ensure this precious habitat is safe for centuries yet to come.

When you join, we will dedicate a recently planted native tree in your name, plus we will send you a fascinating free membership welcome pack.
